DR. CAMILLE WARDROP ALLEYNE

Founder, CEO & President

Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne is the Founder and CEO of Arusha Space, an early-stage space technology venture developing trusted, AI-driven autonomy solutions for next-generation space and defense missions. She is building the company from the ground up, defining its technical vision and growth strategy at the intersection of artificial intelligence, spacecraft autonomy, geospatial intelligence, and national security.

Dr. Alleyne brings nearly 30 years of senior leadership experience from NASA and the Department of Defense. At NASA’s Johnson Space Center, she was a principal architect of space commercialization, helping enable multi-billion-dollar space economies in low Earth orbit and laying the foundation for sustained commercial activity on the Moon. She held senior leadership roles across NASA’s Commercial LEO Development Program, Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative, and the Science Mission Directorate, and earlier led missile defense systems integration at the Missile Defense Agency.

She holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Howard University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida A&M University, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston. Dr. Alleyne is also the founder of The Brightest Stars Foundation, advancing global STEM education for women and girls.
